Removal and refitting of a surround. Client wanted to replace his old gas appliance with a wood burning stove. This always involves removing the entire surround so that we can remove the cast iron insert and start opening out the chamber. Depending on how it was originally installed, this can be very successfully undertaken without damaging the surround. With the addition of a new hearth and fireboarded chamber we can then replace the surround back into its original position.
