Our Process

Consultation

After responding to your initial request we will book in a date for a quick survey and consultation. We will check to see what work is involved and a brief outline of the process to complete it. We have a range of catalogues to show you surround, hearth and chamber options as well as plenty of wood burning stoves. After going through all the options we will aim to get a detailed and itemised quotation over to you in the next couple of days. Feel free to change anything. No orders will be placed until you are 100% happy. We will then take a 20% deposit and book you in the calendar. We are happy to take bank transfers as well credit cards for payments.

Protect

The first stage of installation involves protecting your property. We use multi layer protective measures that include carpet protection film, heavy duty denim sheets then finally semi rigid Antinox boards to make sure we leave your floors how we found them.

Sweep

A sweep of the chimney is included in all our installs so we can check the route is clear and we have no issues. If you are having building work done, like opening up the chimney breast, this is also carried out on the first day. This has the potential to be noisy and dusty but we try to complete this as quickly as possible.

Open up

The next step is rebuilding the opening and installing of fireboarding, chambers and/or full surrounds as to your exact specification.

Install

Finally, we get to install and commission your new appliance. This process can take as little as one day if there is no building work to as long as three days depending on complexity. We are fully HETAS accredited so we will leave you with a fully compliant stove that is safe to use and will give you years of warmth and enjoyment for you and your family.
